make sure the fork on the top is in neutral position. I can't remember exactly what or where it is, but I think it's on top of the tranny.

It's a kunt of a job, that's all. Make sure that the 'flywheel' and torque convertor are properly aligned. if you have already done that; get jiggling.

just as i thought
supposed to go on the shift fork first then once you got the trans on you snap it onto the pressure plate
you gotta get some snap ring pliers and try to take the bearing off....good luck
