Can someone please tell me what is the optimal tps voltage is for a tib? Thanks smile.gif

There is no "optimal" tps voltage. It is a reostat, so it changes the voltage with the throttle position. MAX voltage at 100% throttle is between 4.25-4.8 V. It should read between 0.25-0.8 V at idle. Power input to the TPS should be between 4.8V and 5.2V.

a better way to check the TPS is to unplug it and get ohm readings between the pins, two combinations should yeild smooth results as you turn the throttle position one should be constant. If the meter blanks out at any time while you are turning the throttle body, you have a bad TPS. Commonly, the TPS gets fried at the idle position or slightly above that.
