Buy a funny-car with a push-bar to help your tib down the track? rolleyes.gif

May, you've just eliminated the two biggest power increases available. Nothing else comes close.

find a steep hill.... j/k

no seriously, they have N/A tibbies that have some serious hp to them. Which could probably accomplish that. But your best bet would do a full I/H/E setup and throwing NOS on there. It'd be the cheapest route.

Otherwise just doing N/A mods to get you 100mph for the 1/4 would be more expensive then doing NOS or turbo.

ummm
take out;
passenger seat
rear seat
spare tire
spare tire jack
Dash
door panels
air conditioning unit
power steering unit
The gunk on the bottom of the car
All the rug part of the trunk
tail lights
head lights
corner lights
hell take off the hood too

Replace ALL windows with pexi glass

Intake, headers, exhaust, port n polish, Really aggressive cams, Safc, Light flywheel, Cylender bore, bored TB and IM or quad throttle bodies, You can also cheat with a supercharger

Lets see what else,... super light rims, some slicks

thats all i can think of for now

You could also gain by removing the doors and stapling a sheets of metal to keep the aerodynamic side intact

to get to 100 MPH in the 1320 is going to take some very serious engine mods and some serious weight reduction.

You'd need about 200 to 250 WHP and some weight reduction to pull it off.

Most N/A Beta's have serious problems reaching 200 WHP. Only way I know to do it is to go with the quad Throttle Body setup from RPW, and a stand alone Haltec system to manage everything.

You would be running around 14.2 to top out at 100 in the 1/4. Wasn't Red running close to that? Anyways, here's what I think you'd need:

BBTB
BIM
UR Pulley
S-AFC (well tuned with a dyno after the mods)
4-1 Headers
2.5" exhaust
Port and polish
Race cams (A very aggresive set, not just an intake cam)
Take out spare tire, carpet, rear seat, passenger seat.
Carbon Fiber/Custom molded Hood

These are some fairly easy mods that should get you to that point, if not better, as long as you know how to get off the line properly.

I started laughing and now i got caught being on the internet at work

YOU BASTARD!!!
lol
you made my day though
lol

Seriously though,... 100MPH is a difficult landmark

Take out your spare tire and all the junk in the spare tire well
take out your speaker box (if you have one)
Take out the back seats (only 2 screws 12mm i believe)
Take out the passenger seat (4 14mm screws)

those are quick weight reduction things you can do that can be reversed. With some help you can do all of this within 30 min.

Thats about 200lbs
Its not a lot, but hey 200 is 200. Good luck man

no my question was what is the best turbo i could get for the cheapest price and would i need to redo my engine to put nos on there</div>Smart asses? No. They were being serious. You take out the air conditioner for two reasons that I know of, weight reduction, and it frees up a bit more low-end torque because theres not another belt sucking on your engine/electrical.

And your question, asked in your first post in this thread, was how can you do with without NOS and not "even investing in a turbo". But... NOW you're asking just the basic question; how can I go faster? Well, that is simple, do a search and you will find TONS of threads.
