I've had mine break on me alot, many little things, but then again, I do race it pretty hard, almost any car would fail when pushed to the limits.

I'll have to agree with the rest of the boys here, I live in Australia and during the summer months when the temperature rises above 37 degrees I use the A/C almost to the point of excessiveness. I get a little bit of a power drop of, but that really to be expected.

I live in NM and live with the AC on alot. About 40% of the time it's on.

No huge power drop. Hell, my Sprint, that sucker would STALL if you turned the AC on.

Sounds like you need to...

1. Get some quality headers. They shouldn't be rattling at all. Prolly a loose heatshield somewhere. I had one on my old Excel. Took it off, no more rattling.

2. Crank up your idle a bit. I remember alot of the stuff you've done to your car. Turn up the idle a bit. Shouldn't be very rough.

Unfortuantely, it's something you live with with 4 Cylinder cars.

Did you tighten the headers down? I mean REALLY torque them down?

My friend, ssautochrome manifold HAS to do noise.....is what are built for....
As for power, tibs lose less power than any other conventional car, quarantied.......

Default Re: Iceman Billet Aluminum Throttle Bodies!

Headers are always louder than the stock cast manifold... that manifold is DESIGNED to reduce noise.. if it makes ANY power at all.. that was by accident.

As for the Air.. you are probably putting a ten horsepower or more drag on your engine when you put it on... but this is why the car has a switch at Wide open throttle that disables the air...

Well as everybody else said it sounds like the Ac problem is just you. to the header comment, did you research before buying it what would do to your confort? its like buying coilovers and expect a more comftrable suspension than stock with the same grip as a coilover.. lol research next time, when you mod your car the first thing that you sacrifice is comfort.. be it noise or riding comfort.
