Hey guys i've been reading a bunch of threads about glasspacks and exhaust sounds, but i never figured out if a Thrush Glasspack is the same as the drilled/perforated core glasspack. or which one is better. some guys recommend the Thrush but as far as i been reading the drilled/perforated is better for the ariflow and to shut up buzzy headers. can somebody please tell me the difference, and if a 28" glasspack will be enough to shut up my Maintec headers. Thanks..

 

I don't know where the term "thrush" orginated from or waht it means..

All you need to know is the difference between a drilled-core glasspack and a louvered glasspack.

Get a magnaflow muffler off ebay.. i think tehre like 65 bucks shipped... Straight through, bullet style.. Stainless, and its magnaflow... Cherry bombs (thrush's are the same thing) blow out and your car will gradually get louder until it sounds like ass...

Go with the flow. youll like it alot better.

Theres a link for ya that one is 2 1/4'' inlet/outlet. If your N/A dont go any bigger than 2.5, thats even overkill.

Never heard of a glasspack being blown out... even then, they only $20 to buy another.

im running a thrush glass pack directly after the stock resignator. worked great, since my car is straight piped with no cat, it had the hardcore civic fart can sound, added the glass pack before the muffler, and now it has a nice deep tone.

 

i got my glasspack from summit racing...very inexpensive about 35 shipping was free
