I am probably going to sell it. I was just trying to figure out why the motor is sitting up higher. It runs great, I don't have any problems, just trying to get some insight.

sorry... my bad... i guess i dont know jack sh!t about cars.... it was just an option... something he could check out... who knows, maybe it could have been that. but like redz is saying... the IM could be a little DIFFERENT...... he just needs to check one by one everything in the engine compartment to figure out why it is a different height....

Or maybe there's a way to install the engine mounts upside down? If so, that could make up for an inch of difference or so.

most likely it is either a very minor thing that you overlooked... or its just a difference in size of something.......... someone should check in the hyundai specs.... see if there is some kind of a specs page that will tell the overall height of the two motors
