speedo testing procedures

Well, it won't show that you swap the speed (no seal broken ro things like that). But, there might be a serial number on the part that has to match the car, but I doubt it. Anyways, have you ever seen someone get the cluster of to check before purchasing a car? Personnally, I don't care because i won't sell the car naytime soon and if I do sell it, the buyer won't care all that much about mileage.
It's only fraud if you don't tell the buyer what you did.....but omitting a few 10k on the way will be very hard to prove.

Just don't do it like right before/after you take it in to get registered or the plates licensed. If they see that last year your tib had 100,000 miles and a year later it's at 60,000 they might not like that.

i haven't noticed any loose grounds, and i checked the fuses. warranty? i have one of those? j/k...too many miles and a tranny swap. i'm not dealing with a dealer on that. i looked at car-parts.com and found some used ones, so i'm going to call some junkyards tomorrow, and i've seen two on ebay. i'm not worried about milage indescrepancies. if i ever do sell it, which i don't plan on, i'll tell the guy...i'm honest.

Check the connector for good tight connections. Make sure the pins have good contact with their connectors.
EDIT: Also, there just might be a difference in the two trannies' sensors. Check if they have the same part numbers to be absolutely sure.
