Soundproofing wheel wells
Is there any way to sound proof wheel wells? What about using truck bed liner and a paint roller/brush to apply it to the underside of the wells? Good idea or bad?

I used spray-on rubberized undercoating on the tire side. It cut tire noise significantly, but over the years some of it has been knocked off by rocks & whatnot. A couple of cans every couple of years would be cheap and, in my experience, highly effective. Whatever you use has to be flexible because the inner fenderwells in the front are flexy plastic. Also consider spraying the underside of the body, except where the exhaust pipe runs.
