I am thinking you have a vacuum leak somewhere. When you hit the brakes, the brake booster pulls vacuum from the intake manifold to help move the shaft that moves the fluid in the Master Cylinder.

You did not mention, but does your booster "hold" vacuum when the engine is off? After the car has been sitting with the engine off (say overnight) the booster should still have enough vacuum to allow you to have boosted brakes even with the engine not running. If the pedal is as hard as a rock (as in non-boosted) I would check into the hose that connects the booster to the intake or the check valve that only allows air to flow one way in that hose.

That crossed my mind before. But seeing how my brakes work very well i ruled it out without even looking at it first. I did check the lines ( didn't take them off, just looked at them) I didn't see or feel any cracks. And if i'm not mistaken after the car is off i can pump about 2-3 times and the brake pedel becomes hard as a rock and does not budge untill i start the car.

Well i got so much money in to it already, i don't really wanna spend anymore till i know what it is. If i ever will that is. I'll pass for now. If it is the MAF , i'll just wait till it sends a code and then buy a new one. I'm kinda fussy about putting used parts on, only if i have to. When it comes to replacing sensors, i always go new. Its just weird the car drives like a dream, but bogs at slow down. If it was the MAF, wouldn't the problem present itself at driving speeds as well.

when my MAF went it was usually when i was highway driving, my car would suddenly 'shut down' for about 5 seconds and then start working again.
seriously though, try unplugging your MAF and see if the problem changes at all.
