Adjust your rubber bumpers, they screw in and out, and it'll pop open again.
As for the struts, go to the usual suspects.

^^ That's what I was going to say. I had the same issue and adjusted the rubber bumpers. They lift the hatch up off the latch.

I've been havin this problem too, except it was like that when I got the car, so I don't know if the fluids leaked out or not. I'm going to try movin the rubber bumpers, but if that doesn't work, does anyone know yet if the Struts from that E-bay seller are good?

I have the same problem but mine was due to sticky hatch insulators/gasket. I applied some silicon grease on the gasket and my hatch pops right open.
