There are a lot of these on ebay, from several different sellers. This seller is cheapest at $45 + $10 shipping: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...item=7930583379
Other sellers are selling the same one from $50-70. That price is so low it makes me suspicious. Anyone using this model?
There's also a slightly different one for $50: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...item=7930068777
I thought my new used 2000 Tib had a short shifter installed, but when I removed the panel it turned out to be only cut and rewelded. And It's very difficult getting into 1st from a standstill, and only slightly less shifting to 2nd, but everything else is fine. Worn bushings maybe, I really don't know. But I may as well get a real short shifter if I have to remove this one to figure out what's wrong.

The cheapest name brand SS I have found is the OBX at $85 shipped.
The above generic SS isn't adjustable, but then again many $120 models aren't either. From the picture it looks identical to an OBX shifter, except for the knob, which I wouldn't use anyways.

it was discussed before dweet. there is a bunch of things that make rside a whole lot better. I think in DIY section redz compared rside to some other shifter, search, you'll find it.

there are differences between shifters but the main objective is to shorten the throw between gears which they all do. Buy one that you can afford and from someone that you feel that you can trust.

UGH!!!
GET THE RSIDE.
The ones you listed look like Knock offs of Knock offs.
Looks like they Knocked off the OBX one, which is a knock off of the B&M
Its like the veilside knockoffs,... SHUDDER.
Save some money, get the RSIDE. Cuz you'll be going through a couple of these cheap ass ones
