I know their has been threads on here about complaints about sfr/kspec but does anyone here run the SFR/Kspec turbo pistons? The one set that comes with low compression pistons 7,8 with rods? If so let me know how much psi of turbo you running or w/e smile.gif

they aren't turbo pistons/rods....
they are the stock 1.8L rods and pistons.. meaning they are super low compression and not any stronger than 2.0L pistons/rods.
their benefit is the really low compression. i would never recommend using that combo to drop your compression. do it right, get a set of 8.5 or 9:1 weiscos that are forged.

Or buy my 8.5:1 low compression Ross racing forged pistons with totalseal rings! (PM if interested!)
Not to hijack or anything nana.gif Any forged piston, whether it's CP, Wiseco, Ross, as long as you get a good forged piston you're much better off than a stock one.
You shouldn't need new rods, unless you plan on pushing 400+ HP. I believe it was dennist, or the guy from turbo elements, who blew a rod when he spiked around 415 HP. Stock rods are built like tanks.

I've run 472whp on stock rods without any modifications. I don't personally think you need rods, with some modification such as arp rod bolts, shot peening and balancing the rods can be just as stout.
