This picture was taken nearly 8 months ago, when XXXmonoxidechild aka Patrick, installed my AIRRAM for me.
THESE were taken 20,000 Miles later. The Intake Manifold was never touched during that time.
I was BLOWN away when I saw how clean the Intake ports were. With combinations of various additives, I have cleaned the insides to a near new state. (The remaining carbon was easily misted away with Seafoam Deep Creep)
I have the stock intake manifold back on now thanks to hcriddick21 AKA Craig AKA Hunter. Great guy and a big fan of our cars. Probably the most expensive friend I ever made but worth it. smile.gif
If you're interested in my "receipe", please let me know here and I'll type it up when I get back.
P.S. Thanks again Crai...er... Hunter. wink1.gif Don't forget to post the pics you took.

that is the ONLY problem with port injected engines. At least with Throttlebody and carbs, you get a constant mist of fuel to keep the intake clean.
All the sludge came from the PCV and crankcase vent.

Hey Aviv, aka screwdriver aka well thats all I know......haha. Here's the picture I took with my phone, looks like it came out pretty damn good. Surprised of the quality coming from a cell phone. This time I had to charge next time I got ya. I said earlier I hate to charge but when you have to you have to. I hope everything runs smooth for ya. Thanks for posting this so I can pick some of that stuff up, seeing it first hand this stuff works wonders, pick it up people. Also thanks for the ride it definitly renewed my love for the car. Damn I missed that feeling you get when driving or riding in a tib, its like a friggin go cart only better. Tomarrow I'll be painting my block and clearing my trans, my bro brought back the hoist so now I can get on the ball. I hope this weekend I will be 100% up and running. Can't wait.......ttyl
