The clutch is hydraulically operated just like the brakes and in fact uses brake fluid in the system. You will see the clutch fluid reservoir near where the brake fluid reservoir is. It is a small white plastic container with a black lid. The fluid should be changed periodically the same as the brake fluid is.

Won't replacing the brake fluid automatically cause the fluid in the reservoir to be replaced with fresher fluid?

No, although the fluid for the clutch is brake fluid it isnt connected to the same source that the brakes use
