Best thing to do is sand them down, polish them, then ceramic coat them(DIY kit for like $20 if you have a spare oven)

call up local coaters and ask them

say jethot quoted you this much can they get you a better deal....

most of the time they will say yes alot of coaters use the same system as jethot but when you get somethin jethotted your buying a name...

Headers I got ceramic coated from Jet-Hot. However guys, the whole back end of my Jet-Hotted downpipe is all rusted and the ceramic coating is flaking off and bubbling. Just a surprise to me. The headers are fine though, but Het-Hot is no match for the bottom of the downpipe.

here are some pics of them..maybe you guys will get the idea of what im working with and can tell me something to do







i tried to clean em with coke and tin foil tongue.gif (thx mythbusters) ...cleaned some crud off but not much else haha

all ideas/home remedies welcome..as long as my headers will survive them
