Sorry, I assumed P meant purple. Disconnect the pink wire and replace it with a ground. Don't just ground it, you have to actually disconnect it from the switch and cap it off, otherwise you'll run into the problem you had, which is the fog light switch operated the headlights.

You mean the one I posted? As long as it did something other than make it extremely loud i'd be ok with it. HID's are cheaper though.
drillsergeant.gif AHH which one! Exhaust, or tinted tails and HID's....
I'm starting to lean towards HID's and tinted tails.
If you just cap off that wire, it would have 0V. But it would have no current flow and no way of grounding. Strike Eagle pointed out it's grounded, but not FULLY grounded.

The pink wire is grounded when the headlight switch it ON.
By removing it, and replacing it with a ground, you are bypassing the headlight switch, giving you control of when you want to turn them on or off.
There is no such thing as "grounded but not fully grounded". It's either grounded or it's not.

It meant you have to disconnect the pink wire, cap it off, and replace it with a ground. I specified that because if you just run a ground there, without disconnecting the pink wire, then you'll run into the problem that StrikeEagle did, which is the headlights will be controlled by the foglight switch.

It works! Gotta run to class now, but I'll post a DIY later.
Frozen, you rock!
BrandonR, definitely get HIDs, no question. I may even be buying a set for my fogs now.

Screw class, there were no parking spots available!
