I've seen the white faced gauges on ebay. Anyone know where i can find the reverser glow gauges? I'm also having a hard time choosing headers. It is a 5-speed and will stay NA for now. Got around 300 to spend. Shark racing seems a little high to me, but I do not want to get a cheap 70-80 header off ebay. I want performance above looks. Any help would be appreciated.

you shouldnt even bother with NA mods

i had I/H/E/, clutch, sticky tires, flywheel

and i bearly took a second off my quarter mile

get some nitrous and be happy

For some reverse glow check out www.speedhut.com you do have to turn on the gauge separately and adjust the light separately from the dash controls but they have reverse glow gauges.

Thanks for the speedhut.com link, been looking for those for a month. Bought an Injen air intake. Bought the car from my gf last month, has 160K on it, but engine is strong. 5-speed is a mess though. Won't go into 3rd, pops out of 5( syncro?) makes a terrible rattling noise that goes away when i push in the clutch (throw out bearing?) Finding a cheap tranny seems to be next to impossible. I have no tranny experience, but have the shop manuals. Wondering how hard it would be to rebuild it my self. Was planning on doing a fidanza flywheel and a stage 2 clutch. Any advice would be appreciated.

dont even bother trying to rebuild the transmission man, youd end up spending just as much on parts as you would a used transmission

When I did my trans swap I got my trans for 300 just look on carparts you'll find something. Remember it can be from a tib or elantra.

^^^^ or a GK as long as you grind that one spot down. There should be a DIY on this site. If not then there's one on RDT.

Found one for $375. Dealer told me that the elantra tranny had a different gear ratio. True?
