I know it has to be useless, the OEM air filter was removed when i put the cold air intake in, there is still a box that seems to of connected to the old OEM air filter system and its a box that is midway down on the radiator towards the bottom of the car right below where the OEM air filter used to be, this is a big plastic box and it seems to go all the way to the bottom of the car, im gonna to remove it just double checking to see if it would effect my cars performance any.

get rid of that junk! all it does is add like .879lbs (random number) which will shave off like .0000556 secs on a 1/4 mile (again random number)

point is its useless

Ehh, if you put in a CAI, that resonator wouldn't be there anymore, you either put a filter on your MAF (short ram intake kinda), or a injen WAI (actually, I don't even think this would fit).

Please search before posting questions, you'll see there are DIY threads on this and how to remove it, and why.
