Re: Tiburon SE 2000 CAI
Well Im going to have to disconnect it from the ECU because if I unplug the wires running into the piggyback itself, I cant even get my engine to "turn over"... Id do it myself... but the way things have been going lately, Id mess something up, but Ill look at this weekend (yea I havent even looked at the ECU itself)
Thanks for everyones help on this one laugh.gif

Re: Post Count
AHHH the fun never ends...
Ok, to add to my list of woes, now, every time I hit a bump/hole of any size my car "dies" for a second or two and springs back to life, with a fury I might add! It does this from time to time when I turn my steering wheel anything more then 2 turns.
Also, my air bag light came on the other day and hasnt gone off.
Any ideas to either? Or should I just take it in... or drive it off a cliff?

I had somewhat of a similar problem recently. Every once in a while my car would just die, both in gear and idling. I find out, one tow truck and $300 later, there was a loose wire on the ignition coil. So, check for any loose wires wink1.gif

Re: Here's the interior
Definately a loose wire. Go to the fockers that put the new engine in and threaten their lively hood.

Re: **ANGER..stupid car**
since I got some pics... and in case someone would like to see.
Here are some of the issues with my turbo, that I had once upon a time.
Im sure you guys will get a laugh out of it wink.gif
heat shield (with missing bolt) and paint coming off the manifold. Also, note: the heat shield in front of the fan that is ghetto wired on there with what looks like used to be coat hangers.
fifth injector and FPR
like the "custom" 90 degree bend in my intake? LOL "this was the only way we could work this" , said the people who did the install
this is the piping coming out of the turbo, it just came out while driving around Alb. Nice loud bang went with it!
*EDIT*
Oh, before someone says something, the bay looks so dirty is because all the paint from the manifold went everywhere...

Re: CEL p0121, p0506
Did we ever get pics of the bolt melted into the fan?
