When i bought my car used 4 months ago I had these two recalls, plus one more.

-gas cap
-D-ring (I think it was something to do with child seats in the rear...???
-fuel tank inspection/replacement

I drive a 97 and had the gas-cap re-call. They took my car for a week, I was one of the few that had to get the fuel tank re-placed. Luckily so, glad I checked for re-calls when I bought the car...or I coulda gone BOOM! Plus I got a new gas-cap, the old one was all dirty and ugly...lol.

I don't think Rd1's have the exhaust manifold recall, correct if I'm wrong. (maybe a few of the later 99's).

You obviously don't read previous posts in the threads,... eyeroll.gif

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (KayJai)</div><div class='quotemain'>The DRing is the Seat belt clip thingy,... which affect all years
The Gas tank thing is 98's and older. SOME had issues with the tank, where it would literally crack! Because the gas cap would not hold the pressure.
Fix wsa to replace the gas cap. But it affected VERY few Tibs.

If you really wanted to know what outstanding recalls are on your car, just call your dealer and give them your VIN. Most reputable dealers will tell you.

Cuz your have one of those famous 2002 Tibs I keep hearing about on Ebay wink1.gif

But yeah, apparently they "fixed" that problem by the time those were in production.
I really never had a problem with my 99

I called my dealer, and they told me that my car doesn't fall under the recall for the exhuast manifold. I drive a '98 and the manifold is cracked in 2 places. Who else can I call to try to get this fixed from the recall?

Is it cracked on the flange supry??? Cause that's normal. It would crack worse if those two little cracks weren't there.

I'm interested to see what kind of shape my car is in after I get my Carfax report from cysco00 wink1.gif

it's cracked on one of the runners and also on the top of the flange where it meets the cat, behind a runner.
This is the most visible, I took this pic about a year ago, it's gotten much worse now.
