Default Rebuilding water pumps

Would it be worth it rebuild the factory water pump when changing out the timing belt or is the money better spent on buying a brand new pump?

well considering its a PITA to swap it if you mess up in the rebuild process, id rather spend the 45 bux and get a brand new one

plus im not sure if you can even get rebuild parts that easily for our pumps

I've rebuilt my alternator many times. I buy new water pumps without even thinking. It LOOKS like a hassle. I think the remanufacturers think so too, because the alternators at parts houses are mostly reman'd but water pumps are mostly all new (that I have seen anyway).
