My cruise control has not worked since I did a motor/trans swap. What needs to be rewired to get it to work with the manual trans? I put in a new cruise unit and it is getting power as is the switch on the dash but the cruise light won't come on in the gauge cluster. I have searched for the answer and came up with nothing. Please help.

Search no more.

Go replace your LED bulbs with regular bulbs and your cruise will work.

I posted about this about a year ago.

And brought it back up a few days ago.

So one load equalizer per side should take care of the problem right?

It might. No one has tried it as far as I know.

LED bulbs are not legal for road use anyways, and I almost got hit too many times from behind because the bulbs aren't bright enough to see during the day.

Just swap em out, or give the resistor loads a try.

If you mean those LED panels for taillights, that's different. They are approved.

yes, the LED panals are approved, the LED units that replace a lamp are not. They are too small and do not put out enough lumins.
