Ok, i finally got a job and i can finally start saving some money. (Best Buy Geek Squad rules!!! 10.50 an hour) Anyways, back to my question. I am going to start saving some money for turbo. I will have the money by the spring. But in the mean time i am going to try to get my car ready for turbo. what are some necessities for my car before i go turbo. I am hoping to get one from flyryde (if it will be done by then). So if anyone can tell me some parts i need to get that would be awesome. thanks guys and i hope to get some good advice like always.

well since your saving money now idk much you can do lol. if ALL the money is going to the turbo then just makin sure u dont wreck is the only thing you can do. otherwise if you are able to set some money aside from the turbo you could start buildin your suspension

Yea, i am saving money for turbo and saving money for other stuff too. i just wanted to know what i needed to get before i go turbo. It would be pointless to get a turbo and then i find out i need to get other stuff before i can get it. you see what i am saying? thanks man

Depending on how much you boost, but I would upgrade breaks and suspension. I would also purchase an airram and bbtb. Strut bars. I would also hope in the Head Chain port and polish that is going on right now aswell.

I would upgrade the fuel pump and injectors aswell...

Mostly I would do internal engine work like the head porting because having a healthy engine = long lasting tubro.

very good goal!...talk to john, gary, importshark, or mad i think john(correct me if im wrong) is at about the same mark....but they will ALL tell you to go buy a book and learn about F/I and make sure you can trouble shoot some problems if they occur.

I'd say the most important things to upgrade before you turbo are the fuel pump, clutch, and exhaust. All the rest of the stuff (brakes, suspension, bbtb, IM, p&p head) is nice and all, but not exactly necessary and will up the total price a lot.
