If you bore out your TB, you will need to get a new butterfly cut. The old one will be useless.

2.0 and 1.8 head are the same, so yes, that will work tongue.gif

Lol I'm torn guys...

It's either a- Port and Polish OEM IM manifold, or b- buy an Airram!

Question -- will the ported OEM manifold sound different because of the additional airflow, or will it sound pretty similar to stock?

It will sound similar. If you are going boost go Airram.

If you are goin NA go Port and Polish stock IM. Unless you plan on making an NA BEASTLY tib.

I have a stock IM manifold (1.8L beta) for sale. 40 bucks, I can ship it to you or to whoever you want to port and polish it for you.

I would port and polish it myself up here, but that is nearly impossible in prescott, AZ. So 40 bucks for IM w/ stock bore and then bore it yourself (plus shipping of course). Great deal if ya wanna save $$ on the airram.

the air ram gave me good gains from 4500 rpm and up
before that i had a ported and polished stock int. manifold wich is now on agarwal's car
my car always ran a bit faster then other beta swapped accent over here so i guess it's a part of my "succes"
but i do have some cams and most other N/A bolt on goodies

yes the Throttle bodies we have are stock rebored ones,
old TB is completely disassembled, housing and levers are glassbeaded, slot in shaft is enlarged, on some i do the "half shaft" method, lever are primed/painted,a 58mm new blade is made from t6 aluminium and everything is put back together
