About a month and ahalf ago I ported my IM I believe that with the IM spacers I got 5 whp
Before:
HP: 96.7
TQ: 101.7
1/8 speed: 63.82
After:
HP: 101.8
TQ: 112.2
1/8 speed: 68.70
as seen in http://www.rdtiburon.com/index.php?showtopic=13059&hl=
Ok basically you take off the IM and make everything smooth and the same size as the intake on the head. Self explainitory when you get everything off. So here are the pics I took.
To get a better image of this imaginethe bolt holes line up. Yea these ports were way off.
After, I may have done a little more:

Thanks for the pics, that makes it much easier to understand what everyone describes as "simple".
I'm definitely going to do this, maybe this weekend.
In your other thread where you say you smoothed the TB, did you just smooth out the rough surface inside on the intake side? Or did you enlarge the IM to match the TB gasket as well?

For the TB I knife edged the butter fly and made everything inside it as smoth as possible it goes \_ kinda and just got rid of any angles made everyhting as smooth as possible basically. Both sides of the TB, I also think i make the IM on the IM to TB a little bigger. Just match everything so there are no stair steps because the messes up flow. Good luck plan to be grinding alot it took a while but if the temp is good you should be ok. Also remember to use glasses I also used a facemask for allumum "dust".
