Alright, so today while trying to finally fix one of my clear corners, I noticed another problem. And with that, I thought I'd take some pictures of a couple of minor things that need to be fixed. Okay so here we go...

First off, the clear corner. I got these back in Decemberish and I never really got them to fit. I got my driver side one in with ease, slid right in. However, the passenger side is being quite stubborn. I took some quick pics to show you what I mean, however the camera is not so great. For the pictures...

See what I mean? It all fits fine, except for at top... The factory light fit perfect too...

Okay next, not a major problem I dont think but still. I have my power wire ran really crappy bc Im too lazy too do it the right way I guess. But anyways it seems that a screw from the hood has indented it pretty good. Now its not to the point where it cut through and the wire itself is exposed but pretty close. I taped it up, should it be okay. Heres a pic, but very crappy one.

Okay next thing, verrry small detail, but on the back of my seats the button to move the seats up and down is shifted on both sides. No matter how hard I push they wont go back. Any ideas...

Next little thing is matienence... My engine bay is wayyyy dirty. I searched and either a) im a bad searcher or b) im probally a really bad searcher. Bc I know this has had to come up before. But it is thithy and I just wanted some tips on how to make it look nice on areas like this for example...

and now just an engine bay shot...

Alrighty thanks for any help... much appriciated.

i would start off with cleaning that corrosion off your terminals, there is cleaner and a grease you can buy from an auto parts store like autozone, next it seems like the clear corner is a bit short and is defective, so either get new ones or drill a new hole for mounting. As for the power wire, i have mine the same way, but mine is tucked under the rubber stripping to prevent the hood from pinching it. i think a while back there was a diy on engine cleaning using white lithium grease and water, covering your alternator, all electrical and belts before and then washing with water but don't quote me on that one. as for the heat shield, that is rust and will not clean off, if you want to keep it looking new then sand and paint it with high temp paint from an auto parts store or get a performance header and eliminate it all together. and thats what i would do so good luck on whatever you choose to do

yes, clean off your terminals (be careful not to breathe any of that stuff in - it'll mess you right up) and apply some dielectric grease. This will help the contacts and prevent buildup. You can get that stuff pretty much at any maintenance store.

If the clear corners are OEM KDM parts there should be no problem with them. I find it hard to believe that the mounting tab on one of them is too short. The best thing to do is take it out and place it next to the stock part to see if there is any difference. If there is you should try to get a replacement part from the seller.

I held it up next to each other and they were exact in every way.

And as for the accident, I bought it used but I think it might had of been in a wreck before I got it. The dealership said there was no record of accident on the car, but when you look close enough the paint is a tinyist bit different on the fender on that side. You can only tell when the sun is directly on it and your staring at it. Because I thought the same thing so I am thinking thats the problem. Any solution to this to make them fit?

For the corner, did you make sure that the tab on the side of the light is being inserted into the loop on the car? Hard to explain, but there's a flat, "L" shaped tab on the side of the light. Make sure it inserts into the "U" shaped tab.
