Ok, well i ordered a catch can off eBay for like $40. Now, i've searched and found two different ways of hooking this up, which is confusing me. sad.gif

Do i hook it up in between the hose that goes from the PCV to the intake manifold?

OR

Do i hook it up in between the hose that goes from the crankcase vent to the intake elbow (before throttle body)??

I'm pretty sure i should put it between PCV and IM, right??? sad.gif

http://cgi.ebay.ca/OIL-CATCH-RESERVOIR-TAN...1QQcmdZViewItem

I got the blue one. fing02.gif

How does it catch oil then? Doesn't the blowby go through the PCV to the IM?
I'm having a hard time understanding this 02.gif.

Low pressure blow-by goes through the pcv, and high pressure blow-by goes through the other line to the elbow. I have mine with both lines from the engine cover going to the can, and the can venting back to the elbow. To do this I removed the pcv and blocked the fitting on the im.

Ok, i see now.smile.gif I made two pictures. A+ quality, lol. Let's say i didn't want to route both hoses to the catch can. Which would be the better option?, Picture #1, or Picture #2.
Picture #1

Picture #2
(Assuming i leave the PCV valve in)

-Edit- Wow, those are smaller than i expected!

Hook it up either way mate... From what non-boosted & non-autoX people say a catch-can seems to do very little anyway.

I want this one. It Is C/F.

I had the plasic campbell one from walmart. Mine used to get FULL of gass/oil mix.

I took if just from the crankcase vent.

That looks pretty nice! Ok so i see most people do it from the crankcase vent (breather hose), to the intake elbow (before throttle body).

Not from the PCV valve to the intake manifold (after throttle body). Finally, all cleared up. fing02.gif

I'll post some pics when i get it all setup.
