ok, so the 1.8 ecu i grabbed from the junk works but only daytime. i work 2nd shift so driving to work and all day is ok; but i get off at midnight, when i start up to go home it doesn't turn over. the first night that happened luckly i had the 2.0 in the trunk. so the next morning i plug it up and bam it starts up, that night same thing, ofcourse from the night before i kept the 2.0 ecu in the back seat. so far since i had it in i was only able to get home one night with out it dying. but the thing is that with this ecu i'm way on the lean side, i'm only using a narrowband a/f but you can see the difference when you switch the ecus. the 2.0 is at the stoich and rich area and the 1.8 is at the stoich and lean area, more lean. i'm wondering if the temperture change at night is a factor or the humidity is?

is that true? the 2.0 ecu runs rich, and the 1.8 ecu runs lean?

Search and READ Tony. jesus christ man!

The 2.0 ECU runs rich, all factory Korean ECU's run rich. The 1.8L ECU is tuned for the 1.8L Engine, and cam, which means on the 2.0 it runs a bit leaner. Still rich, but leaner.

This is only posted a few hundred times.
