couple things people might need to know:
1) is it mechanical or electrical
2) who did you buy it from (normally they come with directions)
can't really answer your question till you give some more info.

its electrical but it didnt come with instructions. dmitry i kinda get what ur talking about but not really, do u know where the stock oil pressure switch is on a 01 tib(pics would be amazing). is it basically as easy as to get a t adapter and hook it in.

anywho, the "switch" is on the front of the engine:
you will need to go to a hardware store and buy a t-fitting that will allow you to screw in both sensors. make sure you get the threads and other things right.
then, you just take the wire from the new switch into the oil pressure gauge. connect lighting and ground for the gauge and you will be good to go.

awesome that helps alot, is the switch thing C11 on the pic or is it the black thing down a bit and to the left. for this t connector would they have it at NAPA or like any automotive parts store. and for it is it just a simple plug in thing. thanx for the help

Yea, C11 is it.
You can go to HomeDepot or any other local hardware/pluming store. Be careful with the threads, pipe threads have many different types (AN or NPT for example). Make sure you take the sensor into the store with you when you try it. Most likly you are looking for 1/8" or 1/4" NPT Tee.

Good question Dmitry, I'd say no though.
The engine isn't running (hopefully ) as you're working on it so there should be no oil flow to that spot. I may be wrong though.
