I've got an oil catch can, I was in the middle of installing it and I ran into an issue. The OCC has two screw holes in it for installation, well the screws that came with it are too small and the million other screws I tried were either too small or too big. Could you help me find another way to install it since I can't do it with bolts?

^^^ If i could mount it on top of that bracket it'd be perfect but then would be a b**** to drain it

I took off the holder for the wiring harness on the strut tower wall and put it there.

If the bolt is to small....maybe you should try a washer or two. I bet that'd do it fing02.gif

Well now that i understand your question... unless you can get the seller to provide you with the right bolts...i'd just epoxy it to the bracket.

Yes mine is where redz's is.

Any other ideas, I've never used epoxy so that scares me and I'm afraid epoxy will look ugly

That can is set-up retarded. use the other one for the GK and go thru the bolts on the work bench in the white organizer. if you can't find any ..... go to Lowes or menards

Epoxy isn't hard to use, combine the two parts in the recommended portions, apply to the parts and hold them together for a while then let it cure. As long as you are careful and methodical no one will ever notice. Down the road there will be way scarier things that attaching a bracket to an unnecessary component.

As for other options, personally I would measure the hole and the threads to determine the right size bolt and get some.

Who ever designed and built that can should be checked for mental problems. Those brass nipples are way to spread apart on the can. You only have about an inch of oil storage until the can needs to be drained as the lower barb is right there LOL.

The site gauge is useless to because right where the hose begins out of the press fitting, the bottom barb is. So technically, the can is full once it hits that barb, which is inline with the press fitting.

GL with that.

Ha ha... Good catch on that.. does it have nipples on the top too, or only on the side?
