Okay, found both of the gears and thought I'd weigh them for comparison.
OEM Timing Gear = 1 LB
Fidanza Timing Gear = .65 lb.
Not bad.

I'll take some pics soon. I got my Fidanza at the Nopi Nationals last year from the president of Fidanza, really nice guy. I sat down and talked to him for about a half an hour about issues with companies marketing shifters and the like for the WRONG year car, like the problem we have with this. I still need to call him up, he's going to change the stuff on their listings so the shifter they sell is marketed for the right car.
He gave me a nice discount on the gear.
