Alright so branching off from the WDYMTW thread.
Who has had problems with their OBX pulleys? I know I'm getting a squeal and so are DTN and 01Steve. But who else has had problems, what were you're solutions (if any)?

I only have the obx power steering pully. It squeels, then I have to tighten it, and eventually replace the belt about 20-30,000 miles. I'm going to go back to stock. I think the problem is that it's a full V instead of the standard U shape that comes on the tiburon.

i have the "power pulley" set as well and mine is always squeeling (not always a loud squeel but i can still hear the belts over the engine). its only the power steering belt though, and it could be because mine didn't really fit when i got them. i'm considering upgrading to a full ark set.

Yea it's the PS that squeals. A couple times I had the WP squeal and the car would start to over heat but it hasn't happened for a while.
I hate starting up my car now because of this.... it's embarrassing lol.

Cary a 14mm socket, 3" extension, a breaker bar, and a can of belt dressing. That's just standard stuff for me (except the belt dressing). I have a 113 piece toolkit and a toolbox full of stuff along with an entire car care kit in my trunk at all times.
I never bothered to do anything about th eobx pulley because it's quite easy to fix. Just a 14mm wrench to tighten and an additonal 12mm wrench to replace the belt.

i'v never noticed any problems with the water pump pulley. the power steering pulley i got was a smooth bore, and the power steering shaft on my car was splined. i just sort of pressed it on with the lock nut so it's not quite in line with the pulley on the water pump, i always figured that was the problem.
+1 on the belt dressing though, i spray a bit on every once in a while to quiet her down a bit. i tighten the belt every oil change as well, not a big deal really.
