i was reading the plx install instructions for replacing the stock o2 sensor with the wideband through the device's narrowband output:
for the resistors, put them between the main stock o2 sensor ground and the heating control wire and then cut both of their connections to the o2 sensor
as for the cel for low o2 signal voltage, you shouldn't have to cut the whole o2 sensor signal, just have the narrowbad output of the plx connected as close as possible to the ecu (ecu harness) also, on top of all this.. the power and ground connections of the plx device has to be as close as possible to the ecu, this way both the plx and the ecu has the same reference voltage to work with. also... make sure the gound connection of the plx device is filtered using a capacitor
hope that helps..
the only thing im not so sure about is that fuel pump relay wire of the stock o2 sensor... how does that now have to be connected or routed?
anybody have answers on this one?

I just decided to get rid of the narrowband output (didn't feel like messing with it anymore) and welded another bung into my collector pipe for the stock o2 sensor. I got like another 75 miles to a tank that way! My car was running rich as hell without the o2 signal (duh). Now while I am cruising, under light throttle, my A/F ratio is around 14.3. Is that okay? I suppose it will have to be as tuning for light throttle with the safc is pointless. Thanks for your help man.
BTW: I read the codes with my bosses code-reader. Good luck with this, and let me know how it turns out. cool.gif

Did anyone save this image so I can burn it to CD with the rest and upload it again?

I am getting a CEL for "No Bank 1 o2 Signal". So I suppose it has gone bad?? The wiring is fine and I didn't even mess with the narrowband output on my PLX with this tib so it must have gone bad right?
Anyway, I will probably have to buy another o2 sensor, my friend works at autozone and can get me the oem sensor for 92.00 instead of 110 so I will probably do that.
Just wanted to see if there are any specs for the o2 sensor that I could use to test it?
Anyway, it WOULD be nice if I could get this image, lol, but I am sure it is gone so.
Thanks.

I do.
Uploading it to my Photobucket right now, as the uploading to the site is broken.

Thanks as well, Redz...
Fellas keep in mind that in UltraTibby's O2 Sensor schematic that the harness side wire color code are of the RD2's only...
In that note, does anyone have O2 Sensor harness side wire color codes of the RD1 handy?
Thanks
