No Air!....hot Or Cold Nothing Is Blowing..rd2
#12
Well it took me a few months...well...a few cold morning and I took it to the Hyundai dealership...it was the motor...170 dollars and a 40 for looking at the car.
They want another 40 dollars for the install, should I let them do it or is it an easy process? I dont even know were it is located and I cant find a DIY.
Thanks

1.Disconnect negative terminal from the battery.
2.Remove the evaporator unit, (For detailed removal procedures refer to the "Removal of the evaporator unit").
3.Disconnect the blower motor connector and the blower resist connector.
4.Remove mounting bolts of the blower unit.
5.Remove the blower unit.
6.Installation is the reverse order of removal.
Removal of the evaporator unit:
2.Disconnect battery negative terminal.
3.Discharge refrigerant from the air conditioning system.
4.Disconnect fittings connected to the evaporator unit from the engine compartment.
5.Remove the main crash pad assembly (Refer to the "BODY" section)
6.Remove the glove box support bracket.
7.Disconnect the thermostatic switch connector.
8.Remove the evaporator upper and lower mounting bolts.
9.Remove the evaporator unit.
10.Installation is the reverse order of removal.
NOTE 1.While installing each of removed fitting, replace O-ring (if exists) and apply specified lubricant.2.Be careful not to bend or twist refrigerant lines in order to install them easily.3.After installation, evacuate, charge and test the air conditioning system.
unless you're somewhat savy, and have about 3-4 hours on your hands i'd recommend not doing it yourself.
sounds to me like you're getting one heck of a deal from the dealership to replace that.
