I just looked up the numbers...
Horsepower: 260 bhp @ 5250 rpm
Torque: 302 lb-ft @ 4000 rpm
0-60 mph: 5.7 sec
1/4 mile: 14.1 sec @ 99 mph
So assuming your car is currently at around 9 sec 0-60 & 17 sec 1/4 mile... unless you go turbo & upgrade everything else to get your car into the 13's, you stand no chance. Sorry mate sad.gif

I've beaten them several times using a 60 shot of NX and a custom intake.
I've also put buslengths on them with my current turbo setup.
Take your pick of those.
And dont worry about the FWD vs. RWD thing. Stangs suck off the line stock unless they invested in expensive drag radials. Most Mustang owner dont because they're pretty expensive. So there's a good chance that you're just as fast off the line.

if your goal is just to beat that mustang as fast as possible and as cheaply then go with nitrous. otherwise go turbo, thats the only way to get real power out of our engines. with 8psi you should be able to compete with him.
