need to fix asap, going out of town tomorrow
problem: Car got broken into, dealing with replacing and installing everything. the body shop replaced all the center console plastics and i still have all my wires hanging out from the stolen stereo. last night for some reason my footwell neons, guage lights, and the lights that lite up the p, r, n, d, d1,d2 by the shifter are all not working. Today i installed my amp and stereo.. and neither are working (i assumed since non of the other electronics are working). what confuses me, is the power light on the amp wont even light up...
i have checked my fuses, and all are fine... i have NO idea what to do... please guys open for any suggestion...

The A/C control LIGHTS work?
Do both tail lights come on when you turn the headlights on?
edit: Do the power window buttons light up? How about the other switches (fog lamp switch, hazards switch), the cigarette lighter light, do all of these lights come on when you turn the headlights on?

Replace the left taillamp fuse, 10 amp in the engine compartment fusebox. The left headlight should be on with the right one, it's probably just a coincidence and you have a burnt bulb.
edit: Replace fuse 14 in the dash fusebox, that is the fuse that powers the HU.

Try replacing each fuse, one at a time under the dash, I've had 2 so far go bad that looked 100% OK, but were still bad.

All the illuminations are controlled by that, so yes. Once that is working then you can worry about the HU, but replace fuse 14 (audio fuse).
Just to elaborate on what redz said, don't rely on your eyes when it comes to electrical. If you can't test with a meter or test light, replace the fuses with known good ones. I don't know how many cases of beer I've gotten because people said their fuses 'looked' good.
