Well I tried to place it on the ashtray but I ran into a couple of problems. As you guys know, the ashtray holder compartment is divided into 2 sections, you have the removeable ashtray (if you remove that the safc still dosn't sit well) and the part that holds the cigarette lighter itself. There's no way to remove that part (that I saw at least) whichout grinding the diving piece down. If you did that, then there's no place to rest the safc against, it wil fall through if you remove both pieces...I was able to remove the ashtray holder itself by removing 4 screws that connect it to the assembly. I hope I'm making explaining myself correctly here. I guess I'll just try to wire it in the meantime and place it on the shade like Dweet or try the sunglass holder..this looks like there would have to some minor things done to the sunglass holder itself to get the safc in place

Wattsup, if you could post the pic that would help as I would get to see how it looks mounted up front....thanks for all your help so far guys.

I've seen 2 folks install it in the sunglass holder, and it's perfect. I've got an extra one of those consoles just for that when I get mine. I'm gonna shave down the front a bit and run it.

yea the sunglasses holder has to be the best spot ever especially how it doesnt just drop down it kinda slowly opens, so awsome. I love just playing with all my trays and stuff when they do that.

Nice, that is a great spot also. I like anything concealing.

That is a good place ...Dweet, you're right, the computer is a little tough to get to. I'm not worried about removing it, I'm more worried about putting it back in when I'm done. Looks like there's a couple of bolts holding the computer into place and the wires leading up to it are tapped up pretty good too.
