i havn't done much to my vehical yet, but i was wondering if a SAFC-II would give me any performance gains without turbo/super charging. Redz has said on many occasion that the tib runs rich. Would a SAFC help lean it out? would it be worth it?

so the butt dyno wouldn't be the most effective way? Would it be a wise move to go with a SAFC-II and then dyno? Can you use other peoples dyno results if they have the same equipment??

You can't feel your A/F ratios through your butt... at least I hope you can't! lmao.gif
You can install SAFC, take your car to the dyno and tune it there knowing your A/F ratios and see what gives you more or less power.
Do other mods first. Get a CAI, headers, exhaust, TB, ported/polished IM. Then get it tuned.

Got CAI, Currently working on headers, TB will be distant future. Need to GOMA and polish.
A SAFC seems like a more appropriate christmas present then a set of headers or a TB. Plus it will fit under the christmas tree smile.gif . Would there be any gains from it with a CAI and headers?

You might pick up a few horses from just an intake and a dyno tune, but then it's gonna end up costing you a whole lot more than just the price of the SAFC. And it would be appropriate to get all the bolt ons first and then get it tuned, instead of the other way around. Get a BBTB for xmas. It's about the same price and will also fit under the xmas tree.

Be weary of the butt dyno...very misleading and almost never accurate
wink1.gif There are some guys here who can help you out if you do not have access to a dyno..

I feel Air/Fart ratios through my butt, but that's off topic.
LOL
Get a SAFC and install it, but the issue is that the OEM ECU learns to read around the SAFC and re richen stuff up.
I'd go for better.

True , but if he is willing to reset his ecu on a daily basis the ecu wont have time to learn it and fix it. i do agree with redz thought spring the little bit extra and get something worth a damn. smt6 maybe or even stand alone( a little over kill, but would be cool).
