My Wideband On The Fritz..
#1
well, i have the plx m-300 which has always worked GREAT for me.
i have not driven my car for about 3 weeks, and then one day i got in, and started it up, and everything was all good. my wideband had the normal AFR for idling, and all other gauges were good.
then i started driving, and all the thing said was LEAN, which i know it wasn't but im thinking something happened to my o2 sensor but i have no clue what.
this also happens when the car is warm.
anyone have any ideas.

Not sure exactly how they work.. if they read lean with low voltage across the sensor or high. But I would start with checking the voltage in your car (as a cheap check) and then give your wires a good look over for a bad connection or a cut in the lead to the O2 sensor.. then I would consider maybe the sensor went bad.

I bet the wideband o2 sensor went bad on you, they are alot more fragile then the narrow band sensors and only seem to last about two years before they die and give bad readings, I went through two on mine, one only lasted a year when I put a small dent in it by accident then it no longer worked and the other lasted like a 1.5 years before it died but that was the cheapest one I could find and you get what you pay for.
