Anything about the slave I didn't understand as I'm completely ignorant to the use of the part, what it is, etc. I didn't even know you meant the slave cylinder until I read a few posts up when Denis said its in the way. So the stock piece was in the way, and you took it apart, cut the rod down to size, then used a different aftermarket cylinder to use with the now shorter rod, and everything works the way its supposed to? Thanks smile.gif

he moved the slave cylinder, looked for a similar but smaller slave cylinder (oem for some other car) and shortened the rod... in words it seems like a lot of work but its not. hehe it just common sense.

the slave was for the accent, just not oem it was one of the replacement part they had available in the auto parts store...
