The 4 inch coffee can my car came with has to go, I am thinking about using one of these to quiet it down http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/shopexd...main&id=576
Will that do the trick? I would also like to get rid of the hideous popping noise the car makes when I am not on the throttle. I am pretty sure the popping sound comes from the fact that the muffler is way to big for the 2.25" exhaust piping on the rest of the car

put a nice tip on it and it should be all good. As I do not have a tib here, I cannot check on the amount of room under the car, but I do recall that there is a LOT of room there for the fairly large stock muffler.
If that Magnaflow fits the space with room for the piping to attach, go for it!

I am in the same situation. got a big muffler with my car. Makes the backfire poping sound too.
The magnaflow would be alot better I imagine.
But I think im gonna go for a full cat back. but i'll see.
