It's like 300 or 400 bucks.
For 1/2 second? I dunno.
For weight reduction, take out the big metal plate in the front of your glovebox, in the door it'self. It must weigh about 5 pounds.

you know Redz.. half a second is quite a bit of time when it comes to the 1/4 mile.
Which comes to my other beef with the import scene.. there is more to life than the 1/4mile! I am so sick and tired of hearing about it... if I wanted a car that could haul arse down a straight stip of asphault.. I would have bought a mustang II and dropped a big v8 into it...

Well, go read about the Powerchip some. I did and it just doesn't seem worth the money. Then if you mod your car at all, you need to get the chip re done.

just occured to me.. you want to spend money to go fast? get a set of 13 inch lightweight drag racing rims... bolt them on with a set of slicks, between the lighter weight, better grip, and possibly smaller diameter.. you should be quicker.. provided you do not grenade your CV joints from all the grip

or break an axle or 2..or a differential...that's what my friend just did in his 2nd gen integra at the track with slicks....(no he isn't stock)
but yeah strip that shit, put on some lightwieght wheels and you should see 15's
i'm gonna strip my car to nothign (or however motivated i am taht day) when i go to the track in a couple of weeks...i hope for 15.9 with just an warm air intake...it'll be a long shot, but i hope to do it. all the seats...some of the carpet...maybe the door panels... some of my dash...whatever it takes! i want to claim 15's for a mostly stock engine tib.

Nice combination Dweet
97blacktib, you can began with minor modification like: catback exhaust, lightweight pulleys, CAI, clutch, sparklugs & wires, more compression on pistons... etc....
Just don't think on which item you have to buy fisrt, just began the purchases

15.9 with custom CAI, 1.8 cam, and UR crank pulley.
14.8 with above and 50 shot NX.
14.1 with above and ~60 shot NX.
Something other than the stock tires would have put me in the 13's without a doubt.
