I opened my hood the other day while installing a spark plug cover, when all of a sudden my buddy points out that theres a big open spot under the hood where there shouldn't be... This isn't a picture of my engine, but one I pulled off a DIY here (My car is in the shop) and I was just wondering if it was a problem that theses tanks were missing...

The big one is a coolant overflow, kinda important
The small one is a power steering oil reservoir, only important if you are using power steering.
There is a medium-biggish hole between the PS reservoir and the headlight where you (might also be missing) should have a windshield wiper reservoir.

The dealership actually took that car and sold it to you without those two fluid reservoirs?? Wow. owned.gif
Lol. You should definately look into picking those up, along with the wiper fluid container as well. You should look at other peoples engine pictures to see what else you may be missing...

Hm on my car the washer fluid reservoir is located in front of the fender well, behind the bumper, not up there. There is just a fill tube that sticks up, thought that was normal. If this car in the pic is equipped with it, it would be located just out of range of the camera.

I bought coolant reservoir and power steering fluid tank and installed both. I'm pretty sure there's one more missing because I see a harness for something, but nothings in the harness. I'll post a picture as soon as I get my keys out of my locked car =\
