mines @ 90,000 km, got it @ 83,000 a month and a half ago, just replaced brake pads so far.

1999 with 73,453 and I've had no problems other than the ones I've made myself (which are quite a few!) I just need a regular tune up and I'll be set until my oil change.

Changed:
Timing belt
oil, oil filter
air filter
fuel filter
spark plugs
spark plug wires
new brake pads
Manual transmission Oil( I Don't know if it was neccessary)


Problems:
Loud Power steering pump.... changed Power steering fluid, noise gone!

My car is running like a dream drove 15,000 miles in 5 months...

45,000...new spark plugs...new plug wires...and oh yeah a NEW TURBO...lol...aftermarket...aftermarket is not as reliable as Hyundai OEM.

I'm at 72k miles, bought my tib in april of 2000 (750 miles on it from the dealer, lots of test drives i guess) Build date is 7/99.

problems :

cruise only works intermittantly
Clutch replaced @ 65k, it was starting to slip
wore the stock tires down completely in 48k, now have toyo's
windshield seal is bad....not good when you're trying to drive in the rain and theres water dropping onto the brake pedal. Dealer wont do anything about it. So i will, soon.
rear view mirror vibration.....i fixed that.
both front wheel bearings replaced....between 50k and 60
1-2 shift is rough, maybe synchros gone bad....will try an oil additive in tranny in the next month or two.
