I've never had problems with them. Just have to torque them down correctly.

Tibbytib, you aren't really powdercoating the plastic piece then, you are powdercoating the metal you coated it with. LOL You still will have problems with the underlying plastic though. Cracking and the like.

I've never replaced my gaskets for the valve cover, nor have I ever torqued them with a torque wrench now that I think of it.

No leaks, no cracks. LOL

Bill should be posting in here soon.

From looking at a few things, it seems you can directly powder coat plastic, and that they have new powders with low curing temperatures.

Look into it folks, I'd be interested for sure for a few upgrades.

If it didn't cost too much a metal valve cover would sell as well as anything else custom made for Beta engines. That is to say, not really well but maybe well enough to justify setup costs. I smell a group buy coming if they can actually be produced...
