That has to be the best saying I've ever heard.

Wow XXX that is an awesome saying man!
Loonwolf, that messes up your tranny by doing that and 99% will not be faster than the auto, you will only think it is lol.

alex true true, although i find myself not talking to my friends as much in the car as in the automatic.
shit guys, i had an auto->manual done in my car, you wouldn't believe how much more fuel friendly it really is in comparison.

You can't launch an auto from start very well. If you floor the pedal in an auto tranny, the car takes alot longer to get power because it stops to think which gear is best for the current situation.

Might be O/T, but is there away to programm the ATX for better gearing. I know you can get a better tq converter, but some say that they dont work well with the beta1 trannys. Is there anything computer wise that will imprive the automatics? What else can you do to improve the auto WITHOUT SWAPPING lol b/c I know thats gonna be the 1st reply to this.

A friend of mine of mine told me that you can change some parts, and do something to the computer to get the car to shift where ever you want it to. Im sorry i dont know much, I honestly wasnt very interested when i thought it would be easy to get the parts for a manual swap.
Id actually REALY like to more also, since finding a donor car to do a manual swap here is neigh impossible. Specialy if it could be changed to paddle shifting or something....thats probobly way ot lol.
One point that i didnt see covered up top is the fact that you can use a manual to engine brake MUCH more effectivly then you can an auto. They are just more fun anyway lol.
I would have to contend with the point tho that driving a stick keeps you more focused then an auto does. I dont seem to get side tracked any worse in my Tib than i do in my Neon or Eclipse. Sure your always DOING something with a stick, but once youve driven it for a while it becomes almost completely automatic.
