can anyone tell me the pin location of these wires? MAF side or harness side, they are both numbered

99 Tiburon MAF wires
black - ground
red/white - power
green/black - maf sensor ground, ECU 14
gray - maf sensor signal, ECU 41

i found some info on it but i want to be for sure when i re-arrange the pins this time, before i get another ecu as well

is it also possible that the MFI relay has failed?

The answer to your question is in the diagram posted by radu_rd2. Black (ground) is not labeled, but the others are labeled with one letter per color (two letters for Gray). All you have to do is figure out pins 1 and 2. 3 and 4, from the diagram, are internally connected. If they are directly connected (no diode or resistors in the way) you could theoretically even have them out of order and still be fine.

sooooo, the numbers are in different order on both the MAF and the MAF harness... one goes 4,3,2,1 while the others go 1,2,3,4 when plugged in??? so which is the wiring based off of? the harness or MAF?

the numbers are opisite when pluged in. the mass air flow is x and the harness is y
X=1, Y=4
x=2, y=3
x=3, y=2
x=4, y=1

so which are the diagrams referring too?
if u get a chance just look at them on your own car they are numbered on both... u will see what i mean...

P.S. i just sold my car 02.gif but my cousin bought it so good deal smile.gif

I'm guessing here, but probably the one with power on it, is the power wire. Then there will be probably one with a short to ground on it, and that's going to be ground. Maybe. I could be wrong.
