thanks fellas ! my RD is kinda a like a gift horse... dont look it in the mouth ! LOLz
ive wanted to put on some silver door handles, silver mirrors, and silver moon roof for a long time, but the budget has never allowed for it.
she has a lot of bumps and bruises, but its all in good character.
the rims are MotoForge wheels, forged aluminums. got them on ebay in 2006 i think for 499 shipped. 13 pounds each. the guy had the last stock in the U.S. being sold on ebay at the time, and told me he sold all his equipment to BMW and he was going out of business and wanted to clear out the stock. he told me they retailed at 2,500 bucks, so with all that said, i decided to treat them to some custom paint, and for another 550 bucks i had them painted with a candy blue that closely matched the paint. in direct sunlight they are very ultra blue, but in the shade they match the dark cobalt blue to a T.
I cant wait to get Chris Flyryde's Evo hood and paint it silver on the sides of the hood haunches and black down the middle. maybe blue if the painter can convince me that he can paint match... but i doubt it.
