Default Lightweight or underdive? and brand?

Been looking at pulleys for the beta2 and a couple of options came up. I see tons on threads with "X = cool, y = suck" but no real helpful info weight pros and cons. I'm not expecting magic but it'd be a shame to build this nice motor to run leechy stock weight pulleys.

I get that UDs are smaller and therefore lighter, but what (aside from weight) effects do(es) these have over the lighter stock size? Also I see most run the OBXs but I see ARK models are about $100 more. Any input quality wise?

The LWs seems to have a pretty decent list of pros: same sized belts, amperage on alt, etc. But is there any reason, for the same cost at ARKs, that the UDs from ARK would be better?

thx guys

as far as I know (at least for the OBX pulleys that are on my tib) the accessory pulleys are not underdriven. they are stock size aluminum and much lighter. the crank pulley is the only undersized pulley.

if your boosting ,use the stock crank pulley, unless you can find an aftermarket with a dampener built in., I had obx shatter a couple of oil pumps..I'm back stock and over 300 hp and tq with no issues now..Others have had no issues with aftermarket crank pulleys., Just my 2 cents., I use obx for my other pulleys though.

I believe that the ARKs do, but the website doesn't directly state so. Can anyone confirm either way w/out me having to get on the phone?

Yeah, I did. Dude says they do.

I was hoping to extract more info but to hell with it, I'm buying the Ark lightweights.
