Getting rid of Bomz intake, I see?

Wise decision.

Is your car an automatic, Screwdriver? The AEM CAI is all about midrange power, where the 4AT invests most of it's revving. It provides PLENTY more passing power.

I notice it most in 2nd gear all the way to the shiftpoint. Like I said before, you reach 60 faster than before.

After you settle in with your CAI, you are going to be just like me -- you're going to want even more power. I want more of the same power, which is why I purchased the OBX 4-2-1 headers.

CAI + 4-2-1 is putting a lot of more zoom zoom all throughout the powerband. Combining the two is like combining peaches and cream, I suppose...

Nope. Its a 5 speed.

I am about to invest in the Maintec GT headers + a Catback for the car.

I'd be interested to see the results.

The only thing about a CAI is that it has a performance air filter (that being K&N) so it will get dirtier much quicker! What kind of regular maintenance does everybody do on their CAI?

How often do you clean your air filters, and how often do you go about doing this? I would say every 6K miles. I think I've ran the filter for about 4,000 miles so hopefully some of the pollution isn't staggering my CAI's performance..=X

I clean it every oil change and if needed I replace it with a brand new one.

Lol, this is kind of common knowledge but yes, K&N does get dirtier quicker than your stock air filter. The reason your CAI is staying clean is due to your performance filter doing all the dirty work.

The placement of your K&N is the very thing that is going to make your filter catch more debris than your stock filter.

Really not going to get dirtier faster than a stock filter if you have all the guards in place... the only place for the dirt to come in is through the little foglight slits... and thats not a direct shot into the filter.
